Thank you for considering Adventure More. We specialize in custom-designed adventures and focus primarily on 4- & 5-star experiences with high-touch service to offer “wow” moments. Before you meet with a travel designer, please take a moment to visit Working With Us and/or read through some commonly asked questions. We believe it’s best to start a new relationship with no surprises. If we missed anything, feel free to ask your travel designer during your free intro call.

  • 1. Our initial 15-minute consultation is offered on a complimentary basis. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other and determine if we’re the right fit for your needs.

    2. If you want to move forward, we ask for a $350 professional travel design fee; additional fees may apply based on the length and complexity of your custom itinerary or last-minute reservations. Then, your designer will begin crafting your trip. They will provide an estimated delivery date for your itinerary. Please note that with varying time zones and cultural differences, delivery dates are subject to change. If you have a pressing timeline, please alert your designer.

    3. After reviewing the itinerary, your travel designer can make up to two revisions to finalize your plans. If more revisions are required, your designer may request an additional budget to cover the extra consulting time.

    4. To confirm a trip, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance will be due 60-90 days before travel. Price and availability are subject to change until a deposit is paid.

    5. Final documents will be presented 1-3 weeks before travel. For cruises and group-escorted tours, delivery dates may vary depending on partner policies. For custom-designed trips, we will provide you access to an app featuring day-by-day details, confirmation numbers, contact numbers, and destination information.

    6. Prior to travel, your designer will schedule a pre-trip consult to walk through your documents and discuss any last-minute travel questions to ensure you’re all set for your trip.

    7. During your travels, your designer (and partners) will be “on call” to assist with any unforeseen circumstances that may pop up during your trip.

    8. Upon your return, your designer will schedule a post-trip review to discuss your experiences.

  • Your itinerary will include bundled package pricing, which displays the investment per person and includes items such as transfers, activities, and hotels. Because advisors are provided with pricing based on bundled contract rates from our partners, we cannot offer an itemized cost breakdown. If the pricing does not meet your needs, your designer can discuss possible adjustments to your itinerary, or we can refer you to another reputable agency.

  • Yes, the only way to protect your investment is through travel insurance. Travel suppliers are sticking to their cancelation terms given the losses suffered in the past years. Refunds and future travel credits are harder to negotiate. We will be happy to discuss ways to protect your investment. Here are a few examples of insurance policies to consider (full terms & conditions apply):

    • General Travel Policy – if you need to cancel a trip due to illness (i.e. Covid) with your traveling party or family member back home this policy may cover your loss.

    • Cancel For Any Reason – This policy offers the most flexibility to cancel your trip if you are no longer comfortable traveling. You may be able to recoup up to 50% of the nonrefundable trip costs, (up to $10,000 per person).

    • Medical Evacuation – For domestic & international travel, you may be flown to the hospital of your choice if you were admitted to a hospital regardless of medical necessity.

  • The complexity of managing airline reservations has dramatically increased during the pandemic. It’s not uncommon for travelers to wait hours on hold to make simple changes or adjustments. For clients looking to minimize the stress of air travel, we offer a $100 ticketing fee per ticket.

    • Best route recommendations to save travel time

    • Worry-free management of changes, delays, and cancelations

    • Never sit on hold with an airline again

    • Work with one reliable air specialist. Not a random call center contact.

    • Insider access for special requests and advocacy (waivers & favors)

    Many of our clients prefer to book airline tickets on their own. That is not a problem. Especially if you want to use points (which is the best way to redeem them vs. hotels). We also work closely with our clients’ private jet companies to arrange private land transfers upon arrival. Before booking your flights, check with your designer. They can help suggest the best routing and ensure there is availability when you arrive.

  • We will make all reasonable efforts to try and negotiate future travel credits and/or refunds with suppliers in the event you need to cancel your trip. Please know we make no promise or guarantee favorable terms can be achieved. Here are our standard cancelation terms:

    Adventure More Custom Designed Trip Refund Timeline:

    • If cancelled greater than 60 days prior to departure (and supplier terms comply), a refund of up to 90% may be issued.

    • If canceled less than 59 days prior to departure (and supplier terms comply), a refund up to 50% may be issued.

    • If canceled less than 30 days prior to departure no refund will be issued.

    Other Non-refundable Adventure More expenses:

    • Any upfront travel planning fees

    • Trips paid by credit card - the 3.5% processing fee charged by banks.

    • Bank wire fees

    NOTE: Non-refundable expenses are in addition to the cancelation timeline percentages. Supplier terms may be more stringent and supersede the terms above (a copy is available upon request). Final terms & conditions will be provided during the proposal stage and are subject to change.

  • Travel Designers play a crucial role in the travel industry, and their expertise and services are highly valuable to travelers. While technology has made it easier for travelers to book certain aspects of their trips online, Travel Designers bring first-hand knowledge, a high-touch experience, unmatched connections worldwide, and in-destination support.

  • The Trip Planning Fee covers the time, expertise, and personalized service we provide as Travel Designers. Not only does it compensate for all the prior travel that we have invested in, but it also allows us to thoroughly research and curate the best options for you, ensuring every detail is taken care of. We work for you to secure the best deals, make reservations, coordinate logistics, and provide ongoing support. Investing in our services gives you a dedicated travel professional who will go above and beyond to create a memorable trip. By charging a Trip Planning Fee, we can remain impartial and solely work in your best interest instead of promoting certain products that offer the highest commission rates but may not be best for you.

  • A lot of the fun is researching and creating anticipation for the destination before traveling. As a Travel Designer, we aim to enhance your travel experience and provide expert advice, personalized recommendations, and insider knowledge that you may not find on your own. We consider this a collaborative experience. However, we offer consultation calls at $150 per hour to pick our brains!

  • Adventure More does not work with properties that are individually managed. We are unable to stand behind the quality of individually owned properties. If you are looking for options with shared space (like a living room), we will work with our partners to find vetted villas, apartments, and/or hotels that meet your needs.
